My Story

That's simple I've been there.  I'm a grieving mom.  We lost our son Max when he was just 14 years old due to a medical error.  Not a day goes by that we don't miss him deeply.  The ache doesn't fade, because our love for him hasn't.

 

Even though I had my husband and daughter grieving alongside me, I found myself needing someone outside of my immediate circle - someone who truly understood what I was going through.  I joined several online grief groups, only to leave them shortly after.  So many seemed stuck in the initial shock of grief, and I knew I couldn't live the rest of my life in that space.

Grief is deeply personal, but how we respond to it matters.  No one should have to walk that path alone.

I've always loved laughter, and through my journey, I've developed a dark sense of humor.  And you know what?  That's not a bad thing.  It's a sign of resilience.  I'm pretty sure Max would approve of it, too.

Now I help others rediscover joy - to know that they can laugh again, and live meaningful, fulfilling lives, even after unimaginable loss.

A: The cost of grief coaching varies depending on the coach's experience, location, and the length and frequency of sessions. It's typically an out-of-pocket expense, as it is generally not covered by insurance. I charge $50.00 for a virtual visit or $75.00 for a personal visit.  

Q: Is grief coaching confidential? 

A: Yes, grief coaching is confidential. Coaches adhere to ethical guidelines that protect your privacy. You can feel safe sharing your thoughts and feelings openly and honestly.
